Title: Director of Marketing

Location: 100% Remote 

Job Description: 

Seeking an experienced and polished Director of Marketing. This person will report to the VP of Marketing. This role oversees the design and execution of the media strategy – with a strategic and planning role in current and future inbound/outbound channels. This role also manages conversion-based content strategies and planning. Success in this role will require strong digital strategy and channel execution experience, marketing and data operations knowledge and the ability to operate in an emerging/developing organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Evolve, promote, and grow the company's digital and omnichannel footprint; drive desired behavior change and conversion goals through the management and delivery of robust digital programs

  • Lead development, implementation and prioritization of demand generation programs and strategy through media placement strategies, automated nurture, drip, user ranking and lead scoring 

  • Design and manage planning of lead generation channels to include general content, SEO, organic social and website content designed for conversion and ecosystem growth

  • Track, analyze and account for the effectiveness of each demand generation campaign; identify strategies and tactics for improvement

  • Lead with data; ensure data is a priority and measurement strategies are designed at the onset

  • Analyze technology trends and identify new opportunities to help drive an enterprise level digital marketing optimization program

  • Seamlessly integrate omni-channel strategies into the overall product brand plan, ensuring alignment with the overall brand vision & strategy driven by Marketing

  • Spearhead novel & innovative ways of working in the spirit of delivering the ideal customer experience

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, media channel opportunities and and earned media strategies

  • Manage project timelines, budgets and all key deliverables aligned to launch readiness

  • Ability to construct, write, facilitate and field research highly desired

  • Manage relationships and team members effectively; focussing on skills, education and goals

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or similar

  • 8+ years of progressive, relevant experience in an agency or client-side (experience in a high-volume B2C environment required, start-up background helpful)

  • Deep digital & omni-channel media strategy and inbound/outbound execution experience across core channels required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing operations, data operations and data privacy (first-party data strategy preferred)

  • Experience with leading marketing technologies in support of web/mobile/app experience, automation, performance & insight generation and legal compliance

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Resourceful, decisive and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization

  • Confident with business intelligence, data visualization, interpreting correlation and causation, creating reports and dashboards, analyzing data for testing and recommendations

  • Energized and challenged with figuring things out vs a completed blueprint to follow

  • Comfortable with establishing parameters for technical and marketing activities while implementing effective strategies to increase revenue and optimize the use of company resources

  • Passionate about relationship-ready singles finding relationship success and creating new and improved ways for Tawkify to support that goal
