The Peach Truck: Connecting people to life’s simple joys through the gifts of Mother Nature.
When people experience fruit from The Peach Truck, they are astounded by the delicious difference between freshly-picked produce compared to the offerings at their grocery store. The truth is, today’s mainstream methods to harvest and distribute food rob us of Mother Nature’s natural flavors and nutrients. Our produce is hand-picked at the perfect time and packed the same day it ships. We treat each phenomenal piece of fruit like a delicate gift from Mother Nature, and we want YOU to join our team, hand delivering peaches!
As part of the Tour Team, you will have an incredible, on-the-road experience selling Fresh Peaches to our nationwide community over the course of 6-9 weeks throughout the Summer. You will work closely with other Tour Team members to successfully execute 2-3 stops per day -- serving our community with a friendly attitude, working quickly and efficiently, and owning the task at hand. The Peach Truck Tour is an all-hands-on-deck tour requiring effective teamwork and the ability to remain energized in a fast-paced and high-stress environment. You are the face of The Peach Truck on the road!
You will report to the Team Leader and Tour Manager. There are several types of roles and responsibilities on Tour, which will be rotated through at the Team Leader and/or Tour Managers discretion:
● Greeter
○ Provide an excellent first impression to our community, making each individual feel welcome and appreciated.
○ Provide an overview of products and surprise & delight items.
○ Direct the line as efficiently and safely as possible.
● Slinger
○ Locate orders in Shopify and complete transactions quickly while making personal connections and creating joy with our community.
○ Describe the proper conditioning process of the peaches.
● Loader/Mover
○ Unload semi-trucks.
○ Handle product and deliver it to customers.
○ Assist customers in carrying the product to cars, as needed .
● Everyone
○ Create JOY for our customers.
○ Drive sprinter vans, box trucks and/or other company vehicles.
○ Set up and tear down at each location, leaving it cleaner than when we arrived.
○ Handle any other task that may be necessary with a positive, get-it-done, attitude.
You Have:
● A great attitude and a hard work ethic
● A passion to make the customer experience the top priority
● Access to a smartphone
● Valid driver's license
● Ability to lift 50 lbs.
● The ability to commit to at least one of the 6-8 week tours on the road

Disclaimer: This job is physically and mentally demanding. We typically work Tues.-Sun. from 7 am - 7 pm. Days are a mix of work and travel. Mondays are our off days, but there could be some travel when needed. We work in all weather conditions as long as it is safe for our employees and customers.
